Back in California

Mooney is lying next to me on our squishy bed, snoring gently. Her stomach is rising and falling with each breath. She just turned her head just so - a slight tilt - and looked at me with a skeptic's gaze.

She is very excited. So many people buzzing around the house. It's amazing to see how much she has improved - socially - in just one short year. I am keeping the cameras away from her today, though.

Goodnight, Movie Star.

Twinkle, twinkle little bat

Tomorrow morning I'm getting on an airplane, and will be alighting in sunny California to see Mrs. M after five months away! She & Papa have become quite good friends while Mom & I have been absent. Looking forward to seeing her happy smile. :)

Mooney at the Table

Mooney, All Dressed Up

Pretty in Pink (& Green!) - all bundled up like a watermelon

This is the 18" coat, unfortunately a bit tight on lil' Mooney. Just this week Mom & I went back to the store & bought the 20" coat in a bright yellow & sky blue (reversible) color. Hopefully it will fit Mrs. M better!

A Fantasy

Her voice is like clear water
That drips upon a stone
In forests far and silent
Where Quiet plays alone.

Her thoughts are like the lotus
Abloom by sacred streams
Beneath the temple arches
Where Quiet sits and dreams.

Her kisses are the roses
That glow while dusk is deep
In Persian garden closes
Where Quiet falls asleep.
